At the beginning of last month, my wife celebrated her birthday. As always, she ended up having a very enjoyable day. However, the funny thing about my wife and her birthday is that since the time when I first started dating her, she has always told me that she hates her birthday. I have never been able to figure out exactly why she feels obligated to say this (obviously, it has something to do with disliking to acknowledge that she is a year older), but she has been saying this same thing for years. However, the ironic thing about her making this statement is that for as long as she has been saying it, every birthday of hers that I have experienced she has had a really good time. Oh well, I love my wife and she is a great woman, so I have no problem with her being a little neurotic about her birthday. In my opinion, the important thing is that she ultimately always has a good time.

Like all of her birthdays before, for this year’s occasion, I wanted to make sure that I got her something really special. I have given her lots of jewelry and things like that before, so I decided to go for something even bigger this year. For this year’s gift, I went with a trip to London. As I anticipated, she was absolutely thrilled when she found out that I had given her a trip to London, and we are both excited about getting to visit London for six days at the end of the month of April.
