If you are going to be traveling through Waterloo Station during your time in London, it is always good to know some basic information about this facility. Instead of you needing to searching a variety of sources for the information you want to know, we have compiled all of the basic information that you need to know below:
If you need to get a ticket for a Waterloo Station ride, you can find the main ticket office across from platforms sixteen and seventeen. This office is open twenty-four hours a day, but you can also get tickets from the machines that are located on the concourse. Although you probably have a cellphone, if it stops working and you need to make a phone call, you can do so by using one of the Waterloo Station payphones, which are located at both ends of the main concourse.
Although it’s not free to use, if you are traveling with a young child and find yourself in need of changing it, you can use the facilities that are located across from platforms seventeen, eighteen and nineteen. The same applies for regular restroom facilities. If you are also traveling with a large amount of luggage, you can take advantage of the luggage trolleys that are located throughout the concourse (and only require a refundable £1 deposit).
Also, you may not be aware of this, but if you are waiting in Waterloo Station and need to look something up (or want to check your email), you should be able to do so thanks to the WiFi coverage that is available in most areas of Waterloo Station.
