Every Friday there is a mini celebration amongst the workers of London. It is the end of a long working week and all you want to do is get yourself home in order to enjoy the weekend. That is, after heading to a bar with your friends from work to say a goodbye until the next week and to celebrate the fact that you have a few days off. The only problem is where to go. You don’t want to end up close to your place of work because that could be a fair trek, not only from home but from the train station itself. And in any case, if you’ve ever tried to navigate a transport system having drunk a fair bit of alcohol you’ll know that it isn’t the easiest thing in the world to manage! On the other hand, you can’t forfeit the celebration because that is just antisocial and a bit boring!

The best solution is to go to one of the bars that surround Waterloo station. The advantage to this is that you’ve already got yourself started on the journey home; you’ve caught the train and are merely one short journey away from home. This means that there is no need to try and navigate the complex transport system! The bars are very friendly and have a wide array of drinks on offer, meaning that you can have a bit of variety. There is no better place to celebrate the end of a long, hard week!
