Waterloo Station is the busiest railway station in London and therefore the busiest station in the UK. Because of this, you would expect there to be a wide variety of eateries in the local area catering for all different requirements. You wouldn’t feel let down as there are well over 30 large restaurants in close vicinity of the station. Caffe Vergnano 1882 is a modern bar and restaurant serving food every day. It provides good food at reasonable prices, with a menu that will please everyone. If you’re travelling with children and they simply demand a pizza, there are 2 Pizza Express branches in the area. The Pizza Express franchise will be familiar to anyone who lives in, or regularly visits, the UK as it can be found nationwide. The pizzas are good here and the prices won’t leave you out of pocket! There are also plenty of Italian restaurants in close range to the station – everyone can find something they like at an Italian restaurant! Most these places will also serve English dishes should you prefer the British palette.

If you fancy something a bit more special, you might want to consider a sushi bar. Both Yo! Sushi and Feng Sushi are close to the station and serve a variety of the finest sushi dishes. Again, Yo! Sushi will be familiar to those regularly in the UK as it is another national franchise. Sushi is generally quite expensive as you only get small portions for your money, yet it is quite filling. If you want to see a good plateful of food you might want to bypass these locations!
